"Back in the Saddle Again"

I have let the past 3 years get the better of me, but that is over. A new chapter begins and the theme is "new beginnings" and "faith renewed".
I am down to 4 young people living with me now, Jon,21, my grandson, not working or going to school *sigh*, Sam,20, my daughter, working part-time, Mike, 19, my son, a sophomore in college, and Nikki,17, a junior in high school.
We live with our 2 beautiful long-haired dachshunds, Star and Nutmeg, 2 rabbits, Spots, the oldest living bunny in captivity I think and Clover, who Chris found about 6 years ago while doing a paper route. I think some child took their Easter bunny out for a walk and it got away. Not to forget our parakeets, Skye and Mrs. Owl. Sky became a widower when his mate, Mynx, died a couple of weeks ago. Guilt prevents me from sharing the reason for her untimely death. Yesterday I retrieved a new mate for Skye,Mrs. Owl, also recently widowed (no fault of my own) from an artist's studio in Amesbury.
This opened new doors for me all around. First, because I am now free of the guilt of Mynx's death because Skye seems to be enamored with Mrs. Owl's beauty ( photos to follow), and secondly, I think I finally found affordable studio space. Will be working on that this week and with some faith and prayer all will work out for the best and according to God's will.

Greetings to all who visit and have an interest in what we are up to here in Methuen,Massachusetts. Well, we ANOTHER 5 inches of the white stuff over night, in fact it is still snowing here at mid-afternoon. It has been quite a winter for us. I thought I heard someone say we were supposed to have a mild winter because of global warming...wrong!!! It conveniently hit us the hardest on week ends so although we did miss a couple sundays of church the kids didnt miss too much school.
